1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the WyDoin? application and website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age.
2. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
3. Subscriptions and payments
WyDoin? offers a Premium subscription billed on a monthly basis ($5.00/month after any applicable free trial). A free trial period may be offered at our discretion. At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Payment will be charged to your chosen payment method at confirmation of purchase. We use Stripe, Inc. as our third-party payment processor.
4. Refund and cancellation
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app settings. Access to Premium features will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: All charges for subscriptions are generally non-refundable, with no credits for partially used periods. If you experience technical issues preventing use of purchased features, contact us at support@wydoin.online within 14 days of purchase. We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
5. User accounts
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
6. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users.
- Post or transmit spam, unsolicited messages, or any illegal content.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim affiliation.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Record a testing check-in for an app you did not actually open.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.
7. User content
You retain ownership of any content (goals, profile information, messages, ideas) you create within the Service. By using the Service, you grant WyDoin? a limited license to store and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and make public.
8. Messaging
The Service includes a minimal chat between users. It is deliberately minimal and is not a messaging archive:
- Messages are limited to 350 characters and may include a card referencing a goal, a profile, or a partner invite.
- Premium users can attach photos. Photos are compressed on your device before upload, stored on our servers, and deleted automatically 24 hours after being sent. You are solely responsible for the photos you send; do not send anything unlawful or that infringes another person's rights.
- Only the 15 most recent messages from each participant are kept in a conversation.
- Conversations are deleted automatically 72 hours after the last message. We do not archive or back up chat history, and deleted messages cannot be restored — including for you.
- All rules in Section 6 apply to messages. Harassment, spam, and illegal content sent in chat are grounds for immediate termination.
- You can block any user. A user you have blocked cannot send you messages, and you cannot send messages to a user who has blocked you.
- You can report a message, a goal, or a user. Reported content may be reviewed by our moderators, who may remove it and suspend or ban the account responsible.
Do not use the chat for anything you need a durable record of — by design, it will be gone within three days.
A testing circle has its own group chat, with the same 350-character limit and the same 15-messages-per-person cap. It is kept for the length of the test and then deleted in full 15 days after the circle started. It also carries automated messages — see Section 8a.
8a. Testing circles
A testing circle is a group of developers who install and open each other's Android apps so that each of them can meet Google Play's closed-testing requirement. Joining one is optional. If you join, you agree to the following.
- Your Google account address is shared with the circle. Every other member can see it. This is unavoidable: members add each other as testers in Google Play Console, which cannot be done without the address. Your app name and the link to its closed test are shared the same way.
- You are expected to open the other members' apps each day and to record that you did. Marking a day you did not test is a violation of Section 6: it costs the other members their release, which is the entire thing they joined for.
- Missing a day is announced. If you do not open the other members' apps on a given day, an automated message naming you is posted in that circle's chat and the other members are notified. This is the mechanism, not a penalty we apply by hand, and it is why the circle works.
- Leaving a running circle is final. Your row stays visible to that circle marked as left, so the others can see why their tester count dropped. A circle only accepts new members while it is still filling up, so you cannot rejoin one that has started.
- You are responsible for what you distribute. The test link you share sends other members to software you control. Distributing anything unlawful, harmful, or deceptive through it is grounds for immediate termination.
No guarantee of approval. Taking part in a circle does not guarantee that Google will approve your app, grant you production access, or accept your closed test. Those decisions are Google's alone. We provide the group and the tracking; we cannot promise an outcome that is not ours to give.
No affiliation with Google. WyDoin? is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. "Google Play" and "Android" are trademarks of Google LLC, used here only to describe what the feature is for.
9. Intellectual property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality (excluding user-generated content) are and will remain the exclusive property of WyDoin? and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WYDOIN? AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $10.00, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct we reasonably determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
13. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration or a court of competent jurisdiction.
14. Contact
