Step by step

How to import a plan

Works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini — any AI that can write a file.

  1. Copy the AI prompt

Open WyDoin, go to Ready goals and tap the blue ✦ Copy AI prompt button. It copies the full WyDoin planning prompt to your clipboard — always matched to what the importer expects.

  2. Paste it into your AI

Open ChatGPT, Claude or any AI and paste the prompt. It turns the AI into a 30-day goal planner for you — no extra instructions needed.

  3. Answer a few questions

The AI interviews you: what you want to achieve, your one measurable 30-day target, minutes per day, what you already have, and your language. Not sure what to pursue? It runs a short quiz and suggests directions that fit you.

  4. Get the plan.json file

The AI builds your goal → sub-goals → daily tasks and delivers a downloadable file named plan.json. Save it to your device.

If your AI can't create a file, it will paste the raw JSON instead — copy it into a text file and save it as plan.json yourself.

  5. Import it into WyDoin

Back in the app, tap the + button, choose Import goal, and pick your plan.json. A .txt file works too.

  6. Review & confirm

WyDoin shows a preview — the goal, how many sub-goals and tasks it found. Confirm, and your whole plan lands in your tree with tasks scheduled across the next 30 days and deadlines set. Start on day 1 right away.

Good to know. AI plans are built as 30-day sprints — imported tasks are scheduled across the next 30 days. Plans are capped at 400 items. The importer tolerates messy AI output — code fences and chat text around the JSON are stripped automatically.
